Hi vrushali,
Can you please mention on which Firefox version do you encounter this issue?
If firefox is not your default browser, that pop-up should appear right after launching the browser, not after starting to search on any site.
Is this reproducible with a new profile or safe mode?
Here are some useful links you can try out:
Safe mode: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode.
New Clean Profile: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles

There should be no relation with loading pages and this dialog, this dialog is opened after a few seconds from Firefox startup, it can happen at the same time as loading or searching a page but there's no relation.
You should set the default browser in the Operating System options panel, Windows 10 doesn't allow browsers to modify that setting anymore, so it must be done by you.
