Currently with bug 1467223, redirects from HTTP URIs to non-HTTP URIs do not provide an opportunity to trigger a process swap before the redirect completes. This is especially frustrating in the presence of API redirects (using nsIHttpChannel::RedirectTo) and invalid Location headers.

Redirect logic should provide an opportunity to trigger a process swap before the new channel is connected.
