STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open a bookmark group from the sidebar. 2. Wait for it to be totally loaded. 3. Click on one of the middle tabs of the bookmark group. 4. Open the bookmark group again, from the sidebar. ACTUAL RESULTS It correctly appends all the bookmarks from the bookmark group, and focusses the first one, however, it also clobbers the tab that was focussed when the bookmark group was opened. That tab ends up pointing at about:blank. Its session history is not wrecked though, and clicking back will return it to the previously shown page. EXPECTED RESULTS Tab focussed upon opening the bookmark group should not be affected. Using CVS tip, opt build, on Mandrake 8.1 (Linux kernel).
Ah from the bookmarks sidebar. Ok I can reproduce this now. Looking into it. We probably do something like 'Load this bookmark into the current tab' and being that the group doesn't touch the tab, we literally load nothing (about:blank) into the current tab... Modifying the summary to reflect the problem.
