  1. Enable "Don't keep activities" in the phone's developer settings.
  2. Load some tabs.
  3. Put Firefox into the background.
  4. Bring it back into the foreground.

--> The current tab comes up blank.

Unlike bug 1523157, we are in fact restoring the zombified tab (confirmed through both session store logging and the progress bar being visible), and it's not a reoccurence of bug 1494748, either, because switching to a different tab and back again restores normal operation.
Something is keeping the tab from painting normally, though...

Resolving as fixed by backout of my patch for bug 1382637.

Only on 67, though.

Dylan, do we need to back out bug 1382637's fix from Fennec 66? Now that 66 was just released, we would need to coordinate with Relman for a 66.0.x dot release.

66 is still in beta, so, we'd need to do a backout on beta. Dylan, can you file a new bug for the backout?

Does this still need to track?

Not really, though I leave issues tracked in case they reopen or the status changes. My queries exclude issues that are fix-optional, disabled, or wontfixed. So, you should ignore anything that isn't marked "affected". This is the second question I've gotten this morning on tracked/wontfix bugs so someone has got to have a query that isn't paying attention to the status flags!
