User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:60.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/60.0

Steps to reproduce:

Firefox 60.4.0esr/Linux x86_64 (openSuSE Leap)

Attempted to save a bookmark to https://people.cs.clemson.edu/~dhouse/courses/405/papers/optimize.pdf

Actual results:

When the bookmark dialog opened, I attempted to enter tags of "c,opt". When I began typing, the tag-result list of existing tags was completely detached from the bookmark entry dialog and was stuck 1/2 way down the screen.

Expected results:

The list of existing tags should remain attached to the tags entry as it always has. (the screenshot shows clearly what is happening)

Component: Untriaged → Bookmarks & History

It looks like you have more than just this problem, the arrow panel opens at a random position apparently, it may be due to the window manager you are using, we can't do much in the frontend about that.

Component: Bookmarks & History → Widget: Gtk
Product: Firefox → Core

Can you try latest nightly from https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/channel/desktop/ ? Thanks.

With the new save bookmark dialog in firefox 68, this bug does not seem to occur. Chock it up to Gtk+3 growing pains. This can be closed.
