OOM killer then reaps mozilla processes. Browser slowly uses more and more memory and swap over 15 min period of time (384Mb RAM) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open browser 2. View above page 3. Wait 15 min or so. Actual Results: Mozilla killed by kernel OOM process, memory freed up. Expected Results: No memory leak in rendering routines? Using chrome theme. PII 450 130Gb of disk, 384Mb RAM, 256Mb swap
same kinda thing happens fairly quick with this radar "animation" (js) http://met.no/p_og_t/marked/faerder/sorostnorge.html I left it hanging for 40 minutes by which time mozilla and X used approx 1.5 Gig RAM (all physical ram + 1 gig swap). Made Linux almost kneel. Quitting mozilla regained the RAM.
