From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.1a) Gecko/20020610
BuildID: 2002061108

Large animated graphics slowly consume all available memory and swap. OOM killer
then reaps mozilla processes. Browser slowly uses more and more memory and swap
over 15 min period of time (384Mb RAM)

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open browser
2. View above page
3. Wait 15 min or so.

Actual Results: Mozilla killed by kernel OOM process, memory freed up.

Expected Results: No memory leak in rendering routines?

Using chrome theme. PII 450 130Gb of disk, 384Mb RAM, 256Mb swap

same kinda thing happens fairly quick with this radar "animation" (js)
http://met.no/p_og_t/marked/faerder/sorostnorge.html
I left it hanging for 40 minutes by which time mozilla and X used approx 1.5 Gig
RAM (all physical ram + 1 gig swap). Made Linux almost kneel. Quitting mozilla
regained the RAM.
WFM with trunk 2002073022, linux. reporter (Mark Litscher): can you reproduce
this bug with a recent build of mozilla (for example, 1.1beta)? if so, please
comment again with details. if not, please resolve this bug as WORKSFORME. thanks.
