We're removing main thread usage and it would be nice to see how much benefit we get. Avoiding the thread hop and the busy main thread will probably show some improvements so Jan's idea was to write a test that stores data for and then clears data for a bunch of origins.

With the landing of bug 1599979 enabling LSNG on release and the many, many LocalStorage-related enhancements that landed prior to this in addition to process model improvements (particularly fission), I don't think there's any call for this test any more. :janv, feel free to reopen.
