FWIW, when I first heard about the process for recording these Raptor tests, I wondered about providing an interactive TC task to make this easier. That is, you get an interactive loaner with the software, recording, etc set up; you log in and drive a browser over RDP; it packages up the bits for you in such a way that they're easy to use in subsequent tasks.

That's not quite the same as your POC, but it's similar.

I played around with this myself, and came up with https://github.com/davehunt/raptor-studio. This allows for recording and playback of traffic through mitmdump.
