Steps to reproduce:
Sometimes when I change the size of the viewport with developer mode turned on
(sorry for my english, I'm brazilian)
Actual results:
The viewport image gets frozen and does not adapt to the new aspect ratio
Expected results:
the viewport must adapt to the new aspect ratio even after updated
even after updated, the viewport image gets frozen and does not adapt to the new aspect ratio, I see this error on more than one computer. It's not immediate, but occurs after a while, while working with the dev tools.
Hi Jaelson,
Are you using Firefox release build or Developer Edition? If the latter, can you update to 66.0b5 and see if you're still having the issue?

Thanks for filing this bug. I am fairly certain this is the same as bug 1502909 so I'm closing this one as a duplicate.
We can keep on using it to discuss your particular issue of course, and then re-open it if it turns out to be a different one.
I'm interested to know if once the viewport is frozen, you can still enter a new url in the address bar and load it. Does the viewport remain frozen then? But does devtools show the right DOM/CSS for the new page?
Also, once its frozen, if you select another tab, and then come back to the previous tab, does it fix the problem?
