From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.0.0) Gecko/20020530 BuildID: 2002053012 the search button that's supposed to be next to the go button is no longer there. In my preferences it is checked. If I uncheck it, check okay, reopen preferences, and recheck the search button it will appear again, but when I click on a link or do much of anything it will disappear again. The print button isn't there either, just the go button. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. I don't know how to reproduce it, it just happened a couple of days after I installed Mozilla 2. 3. Maybe it's some plug-in or add on I installed. I'm redownloading Mozilla now and I'm just going to see what happens when I reinstall. I should also mention that I have Netscape 7 preview installed; I'm going to uninstall it. I don't know if either of these things will help, of course.
reporter (Charles): at a guess this might be something to do with getting the profiles in a tangle with netscape 7. can you reproduce this problem with a recent build of mozilla (for example, 1.1beta) and a new profile? if so, please comment again with details. if not, please resolve this bug as WORKSFORME. thanks.
no response from reporter for >30 days, resolving WFM. reporter: if you can reproduce this bug with a recent build and a clean profile, please reopen
