Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:65.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/65.0

Steps to reproduce:

On Windows 7 64bits (or Windows 10 64bits)

  • install Thunderbird 60.5.0 64bits as default client
  • in Explorer choose a file, right-clic, Send to > Email Recipient : nothing

Actual results:

  • install Thunderbird 60.5.0 32bits as default client

  • in Explorer choose a file, right-clic Send to > Email Recipient : a new mail is composed (attachement, sender subject, text)

  • change for Thunderbird 60.5.0 64bits as default client

  • in Explorer choose a file, right-clic Send to > Email Recipient : nothing

  • Thunderbird launched in svchost, but is closed

Expected results:

Equal to 32bits version :

  • install Thunderbird 60.5.0 64bits as default client
  • in Explorer choose a file, right-clic, Send to > Email Recipient : a new mail is composed (attachement, sender subject, text)

This is being worked on for a future version
