Am using a standard Apple USB keyboard. Neither Mozilla 1.x nor Netscape 6.x
allow me to use Page Up or Page Down keys.

I don't understand what the bug is; I don't see a problem.  Pressing PageDown
and PageUp keys in the Navigator window work fine.  Where are you trying to
scroll (what window, what has focus, etc.)?

I have solved the problem. Had used QuickKeys to assign PageDown to PageDown 
and PageUp to PageUp, to make certain quirky apps use 'em properly. Apparently 
that broke Mozilla for those keys. [Oddly enough, it didn't break anything 
else -- except Opera. MSIE and all my other apps were fine.]
