RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 857089

People

(Reporter: fxyyddr21, Unassigned)

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:67.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/67.0

Steps to reproduce:

It makes sense to manipulate its resolution to make it fit the intended size, but when the image is the only thing being shown it doesn't need to get upscaled (only downscaled, if it can't be shown entirely without scrolling, which is the default behaviour).

Hi Thomas!

I will mark this as an enhancement for now and I'm going to set a component so that the development team can take a look at it.
If this is not the right component, please move it to a more appropriate one.

Thanks!

If I'm understanding the request here, it sounds like it's basically bug 857089, which I was looking at a few years ago; but we never really came to a conclusion on the UX discussion there.
