Details

From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.5; Windows 98)
BuildID: 2002053012

I use a host file that maps all known ad image sites (like for those dammn X10
ads!) IPs to localhost. I have no server on localhost. This normally just gets
me an "X" icon in IE, which is what I want. Mozilla chooses to tell me in a
message box that I have to click away.

It'd be real nice (pretty please) if you could do away with this box as
sometimes it is several per page.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install hosts file from http://www.accs-net.com/hosts/
2. Install mozilla
3. Go to any site who has ads hosted on any of the hosts in the hosts file

Actual Results: I get the message box "The connection was refused when
connecting to ad.doubleclick.net"

Expected Results: Displayed an "X" icon or simular in the place of the graphic
if it wants to display anything at all.

I know not everyone uses these host files, but they really do help expecially
when you're on a modem and these ads are embedded in the pages. 1) you don't
have to see the ad, 2) you don't have to download the ad. Even if you made it
configurable like "Silent network errors for images" would be cool.
