User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; Win64; x64; rv:65.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/65.0

Steps to reproduce:

New install of latest release version of TB, on Windows 8.1. I use 'customise' to drag an element as high as I could in the UI. I now cannot move that element because attempting so to do . . drags the whole window around the desktop.

Actual results:

I should be able to remove the element.

Expected results:

Also: even getting to the point of filing this bug irritates, because of (1) 'there are multiple bugzillas', (2) after one has devised a title for one's bug and used it to search for extant bugs, the title disappears and one has to remember it and type it again.

(FWIW on point (1), Thunderbird only points to one bugzilla - if you are seeing something different, please explain in detail)

So you mean that you have Thunderbird widgets in the Windows title bar? Can you attach screen shot?

This is the menu bar (see the view > toolbars menu). Do you see this in version 68? With Help > restart with addons disabled ?

Perhaps it is a win8 issue, because I cannot reproduce this on win7 using 68.1.1 and I've had elements in the menu bar for years. I can only way reproduce your issue clicking where there is not a toolbar item.

I do not see the bug any more. However: today I installed that latest release version of Firefox on a mac and, the first time I ran Firefox, the following happened. When I dragged UI elements out of the area besides-the-url-bar, and into the window which contains UI elements (icons, spacers, etc) - the window that opens when one tells Firefox to 'customize' - nothing happened. But I don't own a mac myself and frankly I am afraid I don't have the energy to open a new bug report for that. (Or perhaps one exists already?) Anyway, the second time I ran Firefox the problem had disappeared.

Strange. If it pops up again please reopen the bug
