Extract https://searchfox.org/mozilla-central/source/testing/raptor/raptor/playback/mitmproxy.py

into its own test package so we can use it outside raptor as well.

Feature:

  • Certificate installation when needed
  • mitmproxy as a standalone process we start and stop in the test fixture
  • configurable environment to pass a mitmproxy script

This patch moves testing/raptor/raptor/playback into its own
testing package in testing/proxy so we can use the proxy
in other places than Raptor.

Hey :tarek, the try links don't work (I'm guessing it's the issue with the hg extension that automatically adds them, it was broken awhile back I believe). Can you add your latest try pushes, thanks!

Flags: needinfo?(tarek)

right, this is the latest try run:

https://treeherder.mozilla.org/#/jobs?repo=try&revision=e2a3f57c55bf30569b8c66ae94a974a34c994a93

We can see some intermittents and a py3 issue on some unrelated package.

I will re-run one today after I've pushed changes based on your review
