Setting the fingerprinting blocking and cryptomining blocking prefs do not result in any blocking.
Nightly 67.0a1 (2019-02-19), MacOS
STR:
- set these prefs in about:config:
privacy.trackingprotection.fingerprinting.enabled = true
privacy.trackingprotection.cryptomining.enabled = true - navigate to https://senglehardt.com/test/trackingprotection/test_pages/fingerprinting_and_cryptomining_and_cookies.html
- observe the text on the page
- open the control panel
ER:
- text on the page should say "Blocked" in green
- control panel should have 2 entries under "trackers" and "cookies" that show "fingerprinters" and "cryptominers
AR:
- text on the page says "Not Blocked"
- control panel shows only cookies and trackers

Thanks Erica! After setting the prefs to true, did you trigger a list update in about:url-classifier
? Unless it's manually triggered, I think the update can take up to an hour.

You are correct, I did trigger an update, and manually resetting it got everything to behave as expected again. Thank you.
