Steps to reproduce:

Install 65.0.1 (via browser or downloaded .dmg file). Previous version 63.0.3.
Open Firefox.

Actual results:

Tabs will automatically reload, their titles showing in the tab bar. New Tab is in focus (blank).
Clicking on other tabs does nothing.
Tabs can be clicked and dragged into a new position, however.
Typing in an URL in the address bar and pressing nothing (autocomplete list does appear).
Pretty much everything is unresponsive.

This has happened ever since I tried upgrading to 65.0.1 over the past few weeks. At some point I did something and 65.0.1 did work (sorry, forgot the steps), but as soon as I updated to a new Mojave macOS beta, it failed to work with the identical issue. I have tried to load without Add-Ons and it doesn’t matter.

If I close Firefox again, it is still unresponsive. If I then choose to restore my tabs, the correct number of tabs appear, but have no title and are not accessible. I can't visit any size, choose any bookmarks, etc.

The only solution is to downgrade to 63.0.3. All returns to normal. I have done this attempt to upgrade and re-downgrade multiple times over the past few weeks and through multiple betas of macOS.

Hello marsnut - I am running the same version as you, 10.14.4 Beta (18E194d) and I don't think I have seen the same issues running on release.

Can you type about:support in the URL bar and paste the contents here?

Also did you perform a software update from 63.0.3->65.0.1 or did you just download the new version and install it?

I tried both performing a software update and downloading the .dmg file (and replacing the older version).

If you are not switching users, then I think your report is a separate issue and not a dupe of the bug in Comment 3.

Since I last posted, I updated to the latest macOS 10.14.4 Beta (18E205e). Decided to stick with Firefox 63.0.3 for a few days before attempting to upgrade Firefox again (clicked on the nagging prompt). Same problem as before. Downgraded.

Confirmed again in latest 66.0. Is there a workaround (without erasing all settings)? Downgrading put everything back to normal again.

1. Open browser.
2. Move browser to second monitor.
3. Click on the Hello icon.
4. Click on "Browse this page with a friend" and then on "Copy Link".

[Expected result]:

• Global indicator should be displayed on the second monitor (the one where the browser is on).
• Global indicator can be moved to the second monitor.

[Actual result]:

• When moving the browser to a second monitor, the global indicator remains on the first monitor (the main display).
• If user tries to drag the global indicator to the second monitor, is not able to.

[Additional notes]:

• This issue is also present when logging into Facebook and calling/video-calling someone.
• Please move to the appropriate component if the case. I'm not sure Hello(Loop) is the right one since it happens on Facebook too.

I have not seen this happen in ages and I can't recall what fixed it. I don't have access to Mojave anymore to check.
