Details

(Whiteboard: [addon: Enigmail])

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:66.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/66.0

Steps to reproduce:

Updated to Thunderbird 66.0b1/b2 (german)

Actual results:

All my old (and new) tagged messages are shown in black like any other message in the threadplane.
Only if I click on the message it shows the intended color (white text, colored bar).

Expected results:

In the threadplane I should see my tagged messages colored ('important' = red, 'work' = yellow, ...) straightaway.

Side-effect of bug 1497041?

Side-effect of bug 1497041?

I don't think. Then it would also stay black when selected.

Thomas, you see this with the default theme and have no userChrome.css styles?

Yes, I´m using the default theme and don´t have userChrome.css styles.

Ok, the culprit found: Enigmail was causing this.

Thanks for letting us know. I'm using TB 60.x and don't have a problem with tags and Enigmail there.

Please also try TB 66 beta 3 which was just released. There we fixed the tag colours as per the release notes, go down to "Beta 3":

Patrick, please take note.

TB 66 beta 3 didn´t fix the issue, but today I noticed that used a nightly version of Enigmail facepalm
After updating Enigmail with the newest nightly the colors worked again.
I´m so sorry for the bother, I should have noticed this immediately blush

No bother, thanks for letting us know. We appreciate people using the Daily and Beta versions!
