Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:65.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/65.0
Firefox for Android

Steps to reproduce:

In approximately 35 min Firefox utilizes very high CPU loads & Memory Leak when streaming music on SoundCloud with Respect Loop Mode enabled, rendering playback to cease from functioning

Actual results:

Playback ceases from functioning

Expected results:

CPU load should be consistently low in average, not averaging 10% and higher (seen spikes at 19% after several hours of uninterrupted before closing browser

Hi @awinzerjr, tested this issue on Windows 10 on Firefox release 65.0.2 and latest nightly 67.0a1 but the percentage in CPU doesn't exceed 10%- cannot reproduce. Additionally, the option "Respect Loop Mode"- from where can be enable? You mean to press on "repeat" button? Anyway, this issue seems to be a duplicate of the bug "886609".

Flags: needinfo?(awinzerjr)

When CPU load is over 10%, Firefox renders the playback useless. Playback speed is reduced drastically, and the sound jumps in and out when the repeat is set to loop over and over.
You can test at https://soundcloud.com/oawwjr/sets. In approx. 1 hr or less, you'll see exactly what is taking place with my bug report.

When testing at https://soundcloud.com/oawwjr/sets, make certain the repeat icon is set to loop everything by clicking it twice.

Hi @awinzerjr, re-test again the issue - can say that I get the same result - cannot reproduce. Please re-test it into Safe mode and as well on latest nightly: https://nightly.mozilla.org/ an let me know if the problem still persist.
