Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:65.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/65.0

Steps to reproduce:

  • upgrade Thunderbird Portable Hungarian version from 60.5.1 to 60.5.2
  • example: on windows 7 or windows 10 (tested both) right click and send any file in windows explorer as an email (or from any mapi capable program)

Note: its a tragedy how its possible to integrate portable thunderbird into any windows since ages. I need to run, and use a Mozilla Thunderbird - Portable Edition 1.5.0.5 which is able to add itself to windows for MAPI funcionality, and if i run newer versions than windows sees that thunderbird is already running and passes the messages to that one.

Actual results:

A message is asking if i truly want to send a mail from this outside application.
Clicking Ok does the same as clicking Cancel or closing the window.
Accepting that i dont want to be asked again, simply skips this window and nothing happens.

Expected results:

A new mail message window should be popping up in thunderbird with the attachment and or subject, body, cc and so on data..

Experiencing identical problem. Am downgrading version and disabling updates until fix appears.
