Steps to reproduce:

preview PDF in firefox
select all
copy
paste into any other notepad or processing app

Actual results:

formatting is retained with the exception of the presence of carriage returns in the pasted output. This may be a product of the pdf.js update.

Expected results:

as in pre 65 releases carriage returns should be copied with formatting.

bug may only be present in a PDF that includes whitespace as selectable to copy

I've tested this report on Mac OS X 10.13 using the latest Nightly and Fx release build. I did not manage to reproduce the mentioned behavior. When following the provided steps I don't see any unexpected characters in the paste output.

Are you able to reproduce this behavior in safe mode?
Can you provide a link to the pdf file you experience the problem with?

I cannot provide a link to the pdf's that I experience the issue with. They are government documents. I can tell you that the behavior is not present in the current ESR release and as mentioned the bug may only pertain to pdfs that render with selectable whitespace throughout the document. Formatting other than the carriage return issue is unaltered and the document can be recreated correctly by returning where the carriage returns should be. Are you pasting to notepad or an equivalent?

Without a PDF this will be hard to fix. If you run into another PDF that has the same issue that you can share please attach it to this bug.
