Steps to reproduce:

Using HP ColorLaserJet scanning program I sent a scanned pdf file to Thunderbird for dispatch by email.

Actual results:

Got message saying HP cannot connect or open Email. Thunderbird set as default Email program. HP Printer software reinstalled. All other scan functions work with no problem

Expected results:

A write box should open with the scanned document as an attachment. This worked perfectly before the latest software update

Error message also says 'Cannot attach document'

This has been resolved. See bug 1530820 comment #30.
