i'm sure this is a javascript issue that has a duplicate already.
Whiteboard: dup me?
how do I get onto this page from remedy.com?!
The page with the problem is not on Remedy.COM, and is password protected, so you cannot get onto the page in question, otherwise I would have simply given the URL to the page. The pages are attached here so that you can see what the code is that Mozilla is having problems with. The pages are . . . http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/attachment.cgi?id=88513&action=view and http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/attachment.cgi?id=88544&action=view
I don't see any obvious problem with the HTML that could prevent submission so it is most likely to be a server side problem...What exactly do you mean by not transmitting, do you mean that it doesnt submit the data for the text field at all? If that is the case, it would be very helpful if you could obtain an HTTP log of the submission.
Resolving as we had no reply from reporter. Reporter, if you still have this issue in a current build, please reopen and comment with details.

Rumor from another web designer is that the Remedy javascript tests for MSIE, or MacIntosh, and assumes Netscape 4.7x, when the browser is not MSIE, nor MacIntosh, and thus uses some proprietary javascript extension code that works only in Netscape 4.7x. I have not been able to confirm this.

If that is correct that should be Tech Evangelism bug...
Further rumors are that Remedy will "work with" Mozilla mid-September. The rumor is: "ARS 5.1 Mid-Tier will support Netscape 6.2.2... so in theory Mozilla 1.x should work... but the official word is it's not supported by Remedy"
