1532181 - Hold then drag doesn't select text

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:65.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/65.0

Steps to reproduce:

• Open a website (e.g. mozilla.org) with some text.
• Tap and hold a word until it is selected.
• Without releasing the finger, drag it over more words.

Actual results:

The original word is selected, but the selection doesn't expand when dragging.

Expected results:

The selection is expanded when dragging over more words. This is consistent with other Android applications - text in inputs and text areas, Chrome, Gmail (just the ones I could immediately find some text in to select).

Hi, thanks for your report. I can confirm your findings on all branches (Nightly, Beta, Release).
Devices:

• Nokia 6 (Android 7.1.1);
• Samsung Galaxy Note 8 (Android 8.0);
• OnePlus 5T (Android 9).

I think this can be an enhancement for FF apps, so I will make as an enhancement, thanks.
