Latest version 60.5.1 (64 bit) on MacOS El Capitan often goes into loop has to be force quit

Steps to reproduce:
Going through my emails, click on next email. All my emails are on Google mail.
Actual results:
Occasionally cursor will turn into spinning color ball and T'bird goes dead: have to force quit. There does not appear to be any pattern, although it is more likely to occur if the email is part of a thread. Problem arose since I upgraded to 60.5.1 - never happened before.
Expected results:
The next email should just open. Following is latest from the error console:

Upgraded to latest version but still the same. Got tired of having to force quit T'bird. Gone over to using the browser interface. All my email accounts are on Gmail.
