If one logs into yahoo's money manager from http://finance.yahoo.com there are a
bunch of dynamic gifs that are broken on the html page.  When you go and view
these images directly (via right clicking and selecting view image) they appear.
 They show up in IE fine.  Could this be because the images don't end in .gif or
.jpg?

Checked today on Mozilla 1.0/Linux, still Broken.

Are you accepting all images in preferences/Privacy and security/images ?
Not all images at Yahoo are served *by* yahoo, so if you "Accept images that
come from the originating server only" - you wind up blocking nay of the images
Yahoo use.
