Test case:

data:text/html,<div style="margin: 5px; margin-top: 20px"><div>

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Inspect div
  2. Shift+hover the margin-top property in the box-model.

Expected: The margin-top declaration in the rules view should be highlighted.

Actual: The computed margin-top property from the margin declaration is highlighted instead, despite being overridden.

Summary: Overridden computed properties are highlighted instead of their short-hand property declaration → Overridden computed properties are highlighted instead of their short-hand CSS property declarations
