Dear sir,

My name is Noriyuki Mitsuyasu of Japan Digital Laboratory Co.,Ltd. in Japan.
After updating the version of Mozilla Thunderbird to 60.5.2, I get an error when I try to send mail.
I set up a method of sending from Thunderbird via MAPI, the mail sending function of the personal computer I use.
I get an error if I install automatic update at Thunderbird startup.
If I install it after downloading directly from Mozilla site, it will not cause an error.
Why does the mail sending error occur due to the difference in the installation method?
I would like to know how to prevent mail sending error.
Please tell me what to do.

The update issue is sovled by bug 1530820

TB 60.5.3 fixes the issue. There manual and automated upgrade install will re-instate sending via MAPI.
