Details

On Wayland, if a firefox windows doens't have focus, scrolling on the page results in going switching to the next/previous tab instead of scrolling on the page.

Arch Linux 5.0, Gnome 3.30.2.

Yes, I think this is exactly that. I thought it was scrolling through tabs but no it's history.

Marking as wontfix for 67 as Wayland support won't ship in that release.

Priority: -- → P3

I can't reproduce this on sway.

I can't reproduce this on sway.

Yes, this is gnome-shell/mutter only bug.

FWIW, I've found that a 'workaround' to this issue is to disable the alt + scroll tab switching shortcut (about:config, set mousewheel.with_alt.action to 0)

I think this is fixed in gtk 3.24.18: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gtk/issues/2112

You're right, Thanks.
