Steps to reproduce:
Uploading large files (500MB+ but seems to get worse as they grow larger) to for example http://www.sprend.com/ but I've had the same issue on many other websites.
Actual results:
The upload often hangs at 100% and eventually times out. Retrying up to 5 times usually gets it to work. This happens since Firefox Quantum, I still have older versions of Firefox on the side and they never cause this problem, still.
Expected results:
The upload finishes and I get redirected to the upload complete page.
Setting as File Handling component. What other websites have you had this issue?

Grover, can you reproduce this? What does the timeout look like? Any errors in the browser console?
Reporter: what version works correctly for you?
Tried with a 512MB file. Not getting any errors or timeouts.

Could you please attach the data from about:support?
I'm particularly interested in the list of extensions that you use, as the bug may be caused by bug 1532530 (and fixed on Nightly already).

Given the description I believe that the issue is a duplicate of bug 1532530 .
However, without additional information I cannot confirm it. Since the reporter has not responded to the requests for additional information, I'm closing this as INCOMPLETE.
