Details
Affected versions
- Firefox 65.0.1
- Firefox 66.0b13
- Nightly 67.0a1
- ESR 60.5.3
Affected platforms
- Ubuntu 16.04 x32
- Ubuntu 18.04 x64
Steps to reproduce
- Open the Browser Console (ctrl+shift+j)
- Move the Browser Console on the screen (vertically and horizontally).
- Close the Browser Console.
- Open the Browser Console.
Expected result
- Browser Console is in the same place where you closed it.
Actual result
- Browser Console opens where it opened the first time (before you changed its location on the screen).
Regression range
- I don't think this is a regression. I can reproduce the issue on builds from 2010-01-02.
Additional Notes
- It can remember the size of the window, but not the location.
- This is like bug 1453788, but as you can see in comment 20 they requested a new bug to be filled for this issue.
