Details

Affected versions

  • Firefox 65.0.1
  • Firefox 66.0b13
  • Nightly 67.0a1
  • ESR 60.5.3

Affected platforms

  • Ubuntu 16.04 x32
  • Ubuntu 18.04 x64

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open the Browser Console (ctrl+shift+j)
  2. Move the Browser Console on the screen (vertically and horizontally).
  3. Close the Browser Console.
  4. Open the Browser Console.

Expected result

  • Browser Console is in the same place where you closed it.

Actual result

  • Browser Console opens where it opened the first time (before you changed its location on the screen).

Regression range

  • I don't think this is a regression. I can reproduce the issue on builds from 2010-01-02.

Additional Notes

  • It can remember the size of the window, but not the location.
  • This is like bug 1453788, but as you can see in comment 20 they requested a new bug to be filled for this issue.
