Win2K SP2. IE6.0 and Netscape 6.23 access the page w/o problem. Mozilla 1.0
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.0.0) Gecko/20020530 
freezes the PC.

Just downloaded and tried Mozilla 1.1 Final Release, and the problem recurred at
the site http://mail.nonsong.org. System would freeze upon Mozilla's finishing
loading the webpage.

Mozilla can't freeze win2k !

Yes, it freezes the entire system, which requires me to reboot.

I have Diamond Stealth III S540 video adapter; driver version: 5.12.1.0; file 
version: 5.12.01.8007-8-30.24.

I agree with comment #7, Mozilla can't freeze Win2k, even for IE is not easy to
do that :)

Sorry but this bug is invalid.
It's an error in one of your drivers and/or your hardware.

Only drivers running on CPU level 0/1 can crash/freeze your system on
winnt/win2k/winxp. 
(It's ~95% the graphic card driver)

Mozilla can freeze win95/98/ME or Mac OS classic...

It's possible that only mozilla triggers this but it's still a bug in your
driver/system.
There is one possible problem : 
If Mozilla wants many memory and win2k starts swapping you get a near freeze but
you can always access the taskmanager (or win2k displays and emergency dialog if
you have no swap space left)

You can only try to update your drivers ...

I have the latest driver already--I even applied Win2K SP3 on this system--so 
it seems Mozilla is not a viable option on my PC even though I'l like very much 
to give the open-source browser a try. The problem could be at my graphic card 
driver, but IE and Netscape both perform flawlessly with the same system 
configuration.
