Build(s):

  • Nightly 67.0a1 (2019-03-08) (64-bit).

Preconditions:
In about:config set the following preferences:
identity.fxaccounts.pairing.enabled --> enabled
identity.fxaccounts.autoconfig.uri --> https://pairsona-qa.dev.lcip.org

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open FF and log in with any account.
  2. Go to https://pairsona-qa.dev.lcip.org/pair and click on "Show code"
  3. On Mobile open RB and from the settings menu select "Pair with Firefox Desktop"
  4. On Desktop in about:preferences click on "Manage account"
  5. In the "Device & apps" section click on "Show"

Expected result:
There is an icon displayed for the connected RB.

Actual result:
An empty circle is being displayed instead. https://prnt.sc/mv3n5g

Hmm, I don't think we have a special icon for the reference browser, but CCing folks who would definitely know.

Component: Sync → Server: Firefox Accounts
Product: Firefox → Cloud Services
Summary: RB icon is not displayed after pairing → RB icon is not displayed in Devices view after pairing
Version: 67 Branch → unspecified

If there is a special icon, it'll need to be added to fxa-content-server like https://github.com/mozilla/fxa-content-server/issues/6971

We have this bug in the content server already: https://github.com/mozilla/fxa-content-server/issues/7015, I have asked :rfeeley if we have a special icon.

We can just use the Android phone icon for RB, same with Fenix.
