User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:65.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/65.0
Steps to reproduce:
Deleted a previously setup IMAP mailbox in TB. Account Settings > Select an account > Remove Account > tick box to remove message as well. Wait for TB to process till message appear saying mailbox was deleted successfully.
Actual results:
Despite successful deletion reported by TB:
-
the ImapMail folder corresponding to the mailbox remain in the TB profile with some data in it (.msf, file containing msg headers, .dat files, etc...). I currently have many ImapMail folders corresponding to various mailbox created/deleted over time with various version of TB.
-
the mailbox config (e.g server settings and personal information) remain in about:config it looks like none of the settings corresponding the deleted mailbox are erased (or reset to default) upon deletion while it should.
Expected results:
All data and config related to deleted maibox shall be removed from TB completely like if it has never existed, especially if the end-user tick the remove message option for them to be deleted as well :-)

Does the UI say mailbox, or does it say account?
Which .dat files remain?
This is a non-maildir account?

Sorry, yes, I meant Account Settings > Remove Account feature.
msgFilterRules.dat and a lot of .msf files and also files without extension that have what look like folder names as name... and which contains at least headers of some emails... some with partial content...
No sure what you mean by non-maildir account... if you tell me how I can check that I can have a look...

In account settings > server settings, "Message Store type" will be mbox or maildir
