Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:65.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/65.0
Firefox for Android
Steps to reproduce:
This is a statement from the developer "If you are using Chrome for Mac OS, update Mac OS up to 10.13, this should update your video drivers. If you are using Firefox, this is most likely a browser bug, use another mode for such websites."
U can see above statement by visiting this >> darkreader.org/help/en/ url. Go to the end of the page.
Actual results:
Issues/Problem:
- There is no "Theme generating mode" short-key like in other browser.
- Sometimes website doesn't even change into dark. Visit this site: https://forum.snapcraft.io from both Chrome and Firefox installed. And u will see the difference.
- And sometimes pressing available short-key form add-on doesn't really respond.
Expected results:
I think an open-source browser should work fluently work with an open-source add-on like this.
This is big sad think. But i have seen many things that working nicely on Chrome, Safari & even Edge but doesn't work nicely on Firefox. I am talking about same available things.
Do something about this.

Compatibility issue? It's hard to tell precisely what could be the right component here.

(This has never occurred in chrome.) -
Sometime, shortkeys assigned to it doesn't respond.

It's possible that there's a bug in here, but it's not the case that any extension that works in Chrome will work without modification in Firefox.
Do something about this.
Maybe u r new to this.
I would encourage you to spend some time with your comments to ensure that your tone comes across as intended. Everyone here is here to help with identified issues, as severity and time permit. Demands and aggressive tones are not in line with our code of conduct.

Sorry if I sounded "disrespectful".
I will try to give you more details.
Did u check the website I mentioned and tried to use extension/add-ons it from Chrome & Firefox, like I mentioned?

I don't see these in Chrome either.
- Sometimes website doesn't even change into dark. Visit this site: https://forum.snapcraft.io from both Chrome and Firefox installed. And u will see the difference.
When I tried this in Chrome, it also sometimes did not work in Chrome.
- And sometimes pressing available short-key form add-on doesn't really respond.
I also experienced this in Chrome.
While I agree that things should be consistent, in this case it's not clear that this is an issue with Firefox. Perhaps QA will fare better than I did?

Pranav, have you tried different hotkeys for the extension? For example Ctrl + num won't work in Firefox on MacOS. One thing I found which was weird and most likely an issue with the extension is that if I assign a key combination (e.g. Ctrl + 1) but prior to that Command + 1 was assigned, the extension shows current keycombo as Ctrl + 1 but lets Command + 1 turn it on/off.
As for the other problem, I've yet to find a webpage which is shown as white and only after converted to dark mode (Tried your link along with multiple other forums and websites). For testing I've used the latest Nightly build and Firefox 65 on both Windows and macOS 10.13.6 while also comparing to Chrome browser using the same extension.
If you have any other details that could help find the problem please let us know.
