Starting a couple days ago (11th or 12th I think) when starting Nightly, the currently focused tabs in the tab session will not restore. The pages are blank and the URL field is blank while the favicon continues to animate.
I am uploading a video to illustrate the quirk.
A workaround of sorts is to switch tabs so the URL shows up, then focus it and hit enter.
I narrowed it down to determine this only happens with uBlock Origin enabled. I have the most recent release version, 1.18.4, which released February 5, 2019. So it did not update recently but this behavior began recently which suggests a regression.

Possibly a duplicate of bug 1534806.

With the most recent build, that contains the backing out of bug 1495072 (per the bug you linked) this seems to have been resolved.
