Hello,
I’ve attempted to reproduce the issue on the latest Nightly (75.0a1/20200308214129), Beta (74.0/20200304223017), Release (73.0.1/20200217142647) and the 65.0.2 Release version (65.0.2/20190225143501), however without success in replicating the results you obtained.
Following the provided steps to reproduce, after installing an outdated add-on, restarting the browser, quickly opening the “Recent Updates” panel and checking for updates; upon the update process finishing, the add-on panel reflects the changes immediately.
As an example, I’ve installed an older version of Ghostery (that version of the add-on is not recommended) and upon updating the add-on from the Recent Updates panel, the recommended icon is immediately displayed on the add-on card, i.e the panel gets updated. See the attached video for reference (captured on the latest Release version, however, the same results were obtained on the other tested versions as well).
Could you please attempt to reproduce the issue once more and provide a screen capture? Thanks !
