if you visit <http://www.theage.com.au/>, you'll notice they have a bunch of
menu items at the top right of the page. 

if you open another tab and go to another site, switch back to theage.com.au,
then back to the other site, the menu from theage.com.au seems to still be 'on
top' of the other site, in the same location - mousing over draws the menu
items, etc. not sure if it's dodgy code on theage's part or chimera, but i
thought you guys would want to know.
are those plugins by chance? If so, that is a known issue

Confirming those menu items are part of a flash object. Related to plugin issue
when tabs are present.
