:jgaunt, the survey is now translated and can be found here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1TFCOVpYgElIOUOR0tce5nsY9RmugYRo7?usp=sharing
Additionally, I compiled all the footer regarding age limitation when someone takes the survey. Usually this string is not in the survey generated for translation, but it is needed later on. You can find the footer in all the needed languages here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1AuVAJODapupxxZm3VkyCns-LzRxwAheSlamXWzcaKG0/edit?usp=sharing

:jgaunt, I noticed that Burmese (my) has some weird looking characters in the spreadsheet. Let's confirm if they look alright once the survey is compiled: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1lBfW5AdAiHn8zyYIfMmIGjMCab7bl9P16k6tcl9HyKg/edit#gid=604285065.

:CocoMo - thanks for providing the translations! I've imported them (sans footers so far) to SG and I presume they are ready for review. Please let me know of anything dysfunctional asap.

They all point to the same language. Double check on your side. Pick a Chinese, Burmese and Vietnamese, they should have totally different scripts.

I uploaded each translation separately - something is wrong with SG. Deleting them and trying over.

:CocoMo - something is legitimately broken on the SG platform; we've notified support - hopefully they'll fix it asap :\

:jgaunt, regarding Burmese, after a thorough investigation, we think the cause is the lack of Burmese font that cause the problem. Once SG is up and running, let's generate a link for Burmese and have the translator take a look of it on her side. If there is a problem, SG side needs to have the font installed. I hope it is just a display issue, rather than corrupted file/characters.

:CocoMo - I've realized part of the issue. The files I received for translation are identical except for their file names and which columns were hidden in the excel presentation.
That is, each of the .xls files I received had Indonesian in the 3rd column which is why the various language links all wound up leading to identical content.
I've corrected those files myself and imported them to SG again. NOW I hope your suspicions about font support can be confirmed, as it appears only Thai, Indonesian, and Malay are presented properly.

Update: The survey translations in context are ready for review. I had more problems on my end than I realized.
Please let me know how it looks, I will finalize the footer.

I checked the files, they look good. Indonesian and Malaysian look very similar but not the same. I ran a few strings to check the language.
Burmese still looks funny because I don't have the right font. I am going to ask the agency to run an in-context review.
Let me know when you have updated the footers for all and ready to go.

The footers appear to be functional afaict.
It occurred to me that we'll also need the Firefox Heartbeat prompt translated for the normandy recipes we use to deploy these surveys - apologies for the oversight. In English the default is:
"Please help make Firefox better by taking this short survey"
Please translate this prompt or another that you consider more appropriate. We generally like to keep it simple.

OK, maybe when they review the survey, they can provide the translation. If there are "evergreen" text, let's gather them somewhere, just like the footer, so we can send it out to translation. Maybe not be for this project, but I am trying to think ahead!

:jgaunt, the review is complete after and the files are updated for the languages that need a revision:
- Burmese (my) has 6 corrections. Look for red color highlighted rows: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1lBfW5AdAiHn8zyYIfMmIGjMCab7bl9P16k6tcl9HyKg/edit#gid=604285065.
- Traditional Chinese (zh-TW) has 3 corrections. Look for red color highlighted rows: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1xlbpsyKVqeFLGJC7cPUkv5FtMbqOOg6ZuAxbE6N7UZA/edit#gid=804777700.
- Missing string can be found here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1V_zogY3BvhgVgy7ziFjQTPYSVkyTj-aPalnZFF0pqkY/edit#gid=0.
The other languages look good.
Let us know when the survey will be launched and how long it will be run. We can discuss that through email communication.
Thank you,
Peiying

:CocoMo, I have revised translations within the survey text.
You actually mentioned "evergreen" text last week and I've regretfully noticed there are a few remaining fields that you may desire translation for - I'll list them below with their defaults quoted.
Engagement Button Label - "Take Survey"
Thanks Message - "Thanks"
Learn More Message - "Learn More"
Apologies for not having noticed before - would you like to proceed using the English defaults? (I realize we are asking about this exact UX in the survey, oddly enough.)

:jgaunt: I have filled out two more strings you asked from our database (can be found in the same link mentioned in comment #15). But for the "Take Survey" string, I have to get back to the agency. For the purpose of the survey, I think it is best that we have it. I will see how much we will be charged for it. It's unfortunate we technically have wrapped up the project, but let me check.

:jgaunt, all the evergreen strings are in. Go through each tab and you will see them: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1V_zogY3BvhgVgy7ziFjQTPYSVkyTj-aPalnZFF0pqkY/edit#gid=1692600308. If this is for all the languages including German and French, which are requested most often, we will make sure to include them in future requests.
Let me know if you need anything else. Otherwise, we can close the bug.
