  • Firefox Nightly 67.0a1

[Affected platforms]:

  • Win 10 64-bit

[Steps to reproduce]:

  1. Launch Firefox with a fresh profile.
  2. Go to about:preferences#search.
  3. Using the Awesome bar perform a random search.
  4. Highlight some text an right click it.
  5. From the menu select "Search with Google".

[Expected result]:

  • The resulted URL contains the following string: "client=firefox-b-1-d" .

[Actual result]:

Severity: major → normal

Looks like the codes changed in bug 1510296, so this may be expected...

I already reported this as a regression on Nightly.

When I tried to use mozregression, it was random, so it's some new timing bug.

We need to get someone from the search team on it ASAP.
