If you have a text field and want to select the last line, you must drag the
pointer until the end of the last line, dragging down below the last line, on
the left of the field for example, does not select the last line, like in other
programs.

Confirmed in Chimera/20020621. Only applies to the last line and only applies to
textareas. To clarify this, suppose you had a block of text like this in a textarea

texttexttexttexttexttext
texttexttexttexttexttexttexttexttexttext   .<-point q

.<-point x                 .<-point y      .<-point z

If I drag from the beginning of the block to point y, it should select the
entire block, but instead it only selects the first two lines. If I drag to
point z, it will only select the part of the last line to the left of point z,
even though it should select the entire line since I am dragging below the
entire line. The only way to select the entire last line is to drag to the right
of the entire line to point q or z.

This does not happen in Mozilla 1.1a.

this works just fine for me. i tried it with a textfield in bugzilla.
