Tested using 06-27 build on OS 10.1.5. 1. Launched chimera. 2. Went to this page - http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=153643. 3. Noticed that Edit->Find Again is grayed out. PASS 4. Edit->Find. Typed in "fix" as search string. 5. Noticed that Edit->Find Again is no longer grayed out. PASS 6. Went to another page - http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=153651 7. Noticed that Edit->Find Again is enabled. 8. Clicked Edit->Find Again. 9. The word "fix" on this page was highlighted. Is this what was intended? Or should "Find" be unique to each page, i.e. "Find Again" should not be enabled if I'm on a new page? Opening a new tab or a new window exhibits the same behavior - that Find Again is enabled. Pink: leaving as Resolved Fixed for your comments.
winnie, i think the third behavior (steps 6-9) is expected. at least, that's what happens in nscp as well. however, this brought up another test: 1. bring up the find dlg (hit cmd+F, or Edit > Find in Page). 2. don't enter anything, just cancel it (hit esc, or Cancel button). 3. look at the Edit menu results: Find Again is now enabled. shouldn't it remain disabled when the field is empty? pink, lemme know if i should reopen this or file another bug (yeah, i know, it's niggling. ;)
