There's been a few fixes recently to ESLint's automatic fixing changes. I'm not sure they really affect us, but I think it is worth an update anyway, as I'm planning on some bigger patches using automatic fixing.

Also included in this is a couple of tidy-ups to .eslintignore to clarify what needs to be fixed or what is being ignored for particular reasons.
