Both for good practice and to satisfy Data Review requirements, we need to document both the mechanism of Firefox Origin Telemetry and its ping (the "prio" ping).

Specific aims:

  • Be absolutely clear that this is an experimental and prototype mechanism only to be used by content blocking.
  • This might be the first that users are hearing about this mechanism and its use. Be clear and calm about what it is and how it's going to be used. (and maybe run its text by the folks in comms)

We don't have to worry about:

  • There are no definitions files yet so we need not document some idea of what they might be. The docs can be updated when/if they're added.
