Summary: [PP] Window dims, redraws upon application launch → [PP] Window deactivates then activates upon application launch
eli's talking about the window frame here. It's like we're creating extra hidden
windows, which cause the main window to deactivate. Is this something to do with
popups, or the hidden window?

Hey, I think this is fixed now. I checked in some code to make popups not steal
activation, and it looks like this doesn't happen anymore. I always saw it happen
with loading Netcenter, and it looks ok now.

I've noticed that sometimes the browser window deactivates briefly before being
closed on quit, which could be related to this issue. You might want to check
that also.
I no longer see this upon launch, but do see on Mac OS-only (as Simon pointed
out) the browser window disabling immediately upon application quit, which other
Mac applications don't do.

Simon, your call as to what to do with this bug.

Summary: [PP] Window deactivates then activates upon application launch → [PP] Window deactivates briefly before closing upon application quit
I believe that the window disabling on quit is because we momentarily show other
windows (combo box ones?) as part of their destruction process, which is wrong.
I'm reopening the bug, and adjusting the title.

Old bug, is this still a problem on OS X?
This bug is targeted at a Mac classic platform/OS, which is no longer supported
by mozilla.org. Please re-target it to another platform/OS if this bug applies
there as well or resolve this bug.

I will resolve this bug as WONTFIX in four weeks if no action has been taken.
To filter this and similar messages out, please filter for "mac_cla_reorg".
Reporter, can we close this bug ? Mac OS 8.5 isn't supported anymore, and I
can't reproduce on Mac OS X 102.8.
If this no longer happens on Mac OS X and Windows, then it's very likely to be
a mac classic only bug.
