Since we got a few reports that in the sidebar Waiting for runtime... is confusing. Adding a hint to sidebar that appears on hover which gives more information, which does not fit in the sidebar seems like a good step.
Julian, would you mind adding your thoughts as well? Thanks!

We could simply add a title on the sidebar item, but I think there's a chance the user will miss the hint.
Maybe a small clickable question mark that triggers a small popup with a detailed hint "We could not detect a debuggable browser on this device. Make sure you have a compatible browser opened, with Remote Debugging enabled. Learn More ->".
Harald also suggested updating the step in the Setup page, by adding ticks next to the steps that are already successful:
- [OK] Enable Developer menu on your Android device. Learn how
- [OK] Enable USB Debugging in the Android Developer Menu. Learn how
- [??] Enable USB Debugging in Firefox on the Android device. Learn how
- [OK] Connect the Android device to your computer.
My concern with this suggestion is that it only helps if the user only has one device (but should be true 99% of the time) and if they are on the Setup page.
