composer window with error message
sending emails with SMTP AUTH fails
with an SMTP server where sending works with the same settings in netscape 4.79.
server software:
sendmail-tls-8.11.3-49
cyrus-sasl-1.5.24-158
since mozilla 0.99 is listed on
http://www.sendmail.org/~ca/email/mel/SASL_ClientRef.html to work with SMTP
AUTH, i tried that too, with a slightly different error msg showing up. in
1.0.0 it doesn't work either.

If you create a new profile and try it from that profile, does the problem persist?
