Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Fedora; Linux x86_64; rv:66.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/66.0
Steps to reproduce:
- Enable displaying of tasks in calendar view (View >> Calendar >> Current View >> Tasks in View)
- Disable display of completed tasks (View >> Calendar >> Current View >> Show Completed Tasks)
- Create a recurring task
- Open one occurence of the task, and mark it as complete
Actual results:
The task remains visible in calendar view.
Expected results:
The task should have disappeared, because the display of completed tasks is disabled.
The task will disappear if the user browses to the next week/month and then back to the week/month of that task.

Thanks for that. I might be able to test with a LiveCD of Fedora 29.
Can't find Lightning 6.2.5.3 in the list, so 6.2.5.1 will have to do.

I can reproduce the problem using the Ubuntu supplied Thunderbird 60.5.1 and Lightning 6.2.5.1 on Linux Mint 19.1 .
Also reproducible using Thunderbird 60.6.0 with Lightning 6.2.6, TB 66.0b3 with Lightning 6.8 and TB 68.0a1 with Lightning 7.0a1 on Linux Mint 19.1. Lightning is the only extension in my 68.0a1, so can't really test in safe mode.
I think I would prefer that behavior because I might want to confirm I have completed a task for that day. If I didn't remember I had marked it as completed I might wonder why it disappeared.
Did it work differently in previous versions?

I can also reproduce using TB 60.6.0 - Lightning 6.2.6 on Windows 10.

Can you still reproduce the issue with a recent Thunderbird release (which has Lightning built-in)?
