User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:66.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/66.0

Steps to reproduce:

Type more than period character (.) into the editor.
Then, type in "this is a test sentence" and punctuate it with a period

Actual results:

The editor does not accept more than one period to be entered in succession. Additionally, the editor does not accept periods if any other characters have been entered before it.

Expected results:

The editor should be able to accept a series of periods in a row, as well as periods after other characters.

I couldn't test this bug as it requires skyslope account. Seeing the bug video, I am placing this under core:Editor so someone can look into this. Thanks!

Moving all open keyboard/IME handling bugs to DOM: UI Events & Focus Handling component.

Component: Widget: Win32 → DOM: UI Events & Focus Handling

Sounds like same bug as bug 1514940. But I cannot confirm this bug.
